110 degrees + 13lb + 10wk LO...carrier suggestion?

My Moby is soooo flippin hot- just can't wear it in this heat here in the southwest. It'll be over 100 for 2-3 months. I also have a Maya ring sling, but the fabric is also too heavy and so I haven't really used it.

Suggestions of what I can wear LO in that is lightweight /coolest option - and also wear in front of me that will grow with us? I don' mind spending money, I just don't want to buy yet another thing I won't use or like. So many options!

Things to factor in: He can hold his head, 10wks and almost 13lbs...would love your feedback!

I would go with a linen ring sling. You'll be able to use it through toddlerhood and I found a RS to be much more bearable in heat than a wrap or SSC.

Nothing is going to make sticking another human on you feel cool.

Try a linen ring sling from Comfy Joey, they are really light and let the air flow through. Some wraps (didy waves, Vat) are light as well and good for the summer months.

We have been using the Bali breeze gauze wrap. It is a good weight for summer, although I have a hard time getting the top rail as tight as I like it, but that might be me and not the wrap.
