Just looking to gain some knowledge on it while anxiously awaiting my results. I keep trying to reassure myself that it will be ok. Have been taking my folic acid before I got pregnant and Genetic Dr said spine and brain looked good at NT Scan.
I assume you mean the AFP blood test that checks for spina bifida, etc? Because if you've already had an NT scan I can't think what else it would be....in any case, if things looked good at the scan I think you have very little to worry about, especially with your folic acid intake.

If you're talking about the AFP blood test, it's just a blood draw with one vial of blood. Easy. Your doctor will also take a look at the spine during the anatomy ultrasound.

And that blood test happens as part of the 2nd trimester bloodwork. So, not at the same time as the NT scan.
Re: Can anyone tell me their experiences with Neural Tube Defect Testing
