Bought my first OPK

I am all ready for cycle #2, I signed up for fertility friend and bought my first OPK today. On what cycle day do most of you start testing? My last cycle was super long, 39 days, but usually I am closer to 29 to 30 days.

Excited to get started TTC again this month:) Thanks to all of the great advise so far girls:)

Good Luck! My cycles are anywhere from 28-31 days typically (But I have had the longer 39 day one as well). I usually start my OPKs around day 14 but then again, I have a shorter LP so my O day is usually 18-20.

I would suggest starting around day 10 this first time around until you can start to see a pattern for your O-Date. I would also recommend (if you haven't already), getting the Wondfo brand OPKs because they are much cheaper and when you are just starting out, you'll want to use the OPKs longer to make sure you catch your surge.

Since my cycles are so irregular, I start testing early because I have no idea what my body will do (around CD 11). I would recommend starting around CD 10-12 or so, especially if you generally ovulate at approximately the same time. That way if you O a little early, you'll catch it. What kind of OPKs did you get?

My cycles are usually around 32 days and I ovulate around CD20. Since the cycles still aren't too consistent, I generally start temping around CD10 and test with OPKs around CD15.

Good luck! I buy the cheapie OPKs from Amazon, so usually start testing between CD 8 and 10.

I got the kind called Answer.... I wasn't sure what to get when I was shopping, I just saw the ones on Amazon and I am going to order some of those too they are way cheap! I guess I will start on CD 10 because I really have no idea when I O, and my cycles are a little irregular sometimes.

I would definitely recommend wondfos. I ordered a bajillion of them off of amazon and it is just so great because I have a POAS addiction. When you have the cheapies you can really start testing anytime without worrying bout wasting $. I was using digis for a while and it was just SO expensive with my crazy cycles.
