Nicknames? Who wants to know ours?

During my last pregnancy, we nicknamed the baby Blueberry because of the fruit ticker week. I just fell in love with it and I loved calling her that. So I was so excited to pick one for this new baby. We had one picked out but forgot what it was and have not been able to figure it out.

So we're going with Sweet Pea. Cute, precious, what could be better?

I keep calling it a potato. And I had a dream it was an alien so I call it Marvin occasionally.

I have been calling ours "Ace" - baby was our little hole in one! A little surprise as a result of relying on DH monitoring my ovulation schedule. His quote about it: "I have now learned that a woman's body just isn't as exact as accounting" (he is an accounting manager)

Seymour, after Little shop of horrors (movie). As in "feed me Seymour!!", as my stomach growls all the time. (yes, i know the plant is named Audrey 2, but DH's grandma is named Audrey, so we settle on Seymour)

We call ours "my parasite" or "our little alien," but my husband and I have a sick sense of humor

I also call it jelly bean since it looked like that on our first U/S. I can't wait to find out the sex (in FOREVER) so I can call it my little girl or boy! Plus when it stops zapping all of my energy, I'll probably stop calling it my parasite

Haha! Hubby and I do they same thing, although when I am feeling more loving, I call him/her Sweet Pea (like the ticker), or petite choux. DH is so excited about having kids he calls the baby Thing 1 and refers to future (unconcieved) children as Thing 2, 3 etc. lol

That was the short version. He calls me Wife Honey Bunny and he is Husband Honey Bunny. We address emails, letters, etc. as WHB and HHB. It's really silly but we were so excited about being married

I have definitely felt like this is the case at times (a little alien), especially when looking at the illustrations of what the LO looks like so early!

My husband has to kiss my belly every night before I go to bed (which is usually before the sun goes down) and says goodnight to his lil' *fruit*. It's very cute, but usually makes me need to pee again :b

To 99% of people it will be BB as in Baby B****.(Last name)

But DH and I call the baby "Toby". Why? Because we conceived on vacation in Myrtle Beach...which is where Eastbound and Down was filmed. Toby was the baby on that show. Hahahaha

ETA: When we talk in our Reggie voice (a/k/a talk as our dog-we're not the only people who do that right?) we call the baby "Brister" as in Brother/Sister since we don't know what the baby is yet.

DH has nicknamed our LO "Matilda"...he likes to tease me that if it's a girl he wants to name her Matilda so now it has stuck as the nickname! I will feel so bad if this sweet one turns out to be a boy! :-)

DH calls our baby "Seahorse". We were looking at a book I got from the library with illustrations for the early weeks and he thought one looked like a seahorse.

I was referring to them as Baby A and Baby B but that drove my SO crazy so they have been now dubbed Frick and Frack (the comedic pair). So far that one seems to have stuck with the family too!

When we believed it was just one my SO called it the underwater sea monkey... no clue.
