Spit up after burp

About once a day, for the past 3 days (maybe?), after I burp DD she ends up spitting up quite a bit. Is this normal?

And of course it NEVER ends up on the burp rag - just a little bit on her but most of it ends up on me. This morning I had the joy of it going down my shirt. Most of the time it ends up down the side of my shirt. This time my neck & chest got in on the action. :/

    Yes, it's normal.  It happens to my LO too and usually gets all over me as well!  If it becomes after every feeding and is a lot I would let your pedi know.

    Very normal. Try burping a bit for frequently and making sure she is upright right after feeding. Also, I've noticed when she eats a bit more than usual that happens more.

    Can you hold her so she's sitting up when you burp her?  DD puked on me a few times, so now I only burp her sitting up. I put a burp cloth under her chin, hold her under her armpits so incan support her head with my fingers, sit her up on my knee, and then burp her that way.  I also burp her after every ounce.

    My kidlette spits up constantly. It's normal. Some babies just do it more than others. My pedi says that as long as she doesn't seem distressed about it (pain/discomfort with excessive spit up can mean acid reflux). My LO only gets upset when she does it laying down and the side of her head is sopping wet or when she spits up in such a way she shoots it out of her little nose.
