So not a good doctor's appointment today, I told her about all the pressure I was having down there so when she was measuring my belly she was trying to feel where baby was. Then she told me that she didn't like what she was feeling so wanted to check me. I am dilated to 1, and baby is head down and in my pelvis. She told me no more exercising, I can not pick up anything heavier than my purse, and get as much rest as I can. She didn't put me on bed rest but told me if I dilate anymore she will put me on bed rest immediately. I now see the doctor every week so they can keep an eye on baby and make sure my blood pressure isn't elevated. Doctor believes that we will have a baby by Mid to late august that would put me between 33-36 weeks. Its so early its scary, I am so nervous about everything. We are moving next week and everything and now have had to hire movers to make sure I do not lift anything at all. I am so praying this baby stays in as long as possible.

Re: Not a good appointment today.....
Sending thoughts and prayers your way! That does sound extremely scary but there is still hope LO will cook til October.
Did you have preterm labor issues with your son?

I was born at 30 weeks (3lbs 8 oz). I only spent a couple of weeks in the hospital before my mom could take me home happy and healthy. That was 30 years ago. Nowadays babies are born as early as 24 weeks and survive (about 1lb). I guess what I am trying to say, while nobody wants to have a premie baby, the advances in medicine are amazing. Even if your LO decides to make an early debut, there is an extremely good chance that everything would be just fine.
I too have a high risk of delivery before 35 weeks. Try to stay positive.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you!
