If you have Pre eclampsia....Question?

......Or if you have had it with previous pregnancies.

Did you ever experience a side pain? Right underneath your ribs. It becomes painful mostly when you inhale, sneeze or cough.

I was diagnose with pre e with my last pregnancy at 37 weeks and I remember having this same pain I am experiencing right now. But my doctor never said it attributed to being a sign of pre e.

 This morning, I woke up with the exact same pain I had during my last pregnancy. I looked it up and a few articles said it's a sign of pre e. They are already monitoring me closely because my doctor says there is a huge possibility I will be diagnosed with pre e again and my blood pressure has been slowly elevating (It was 135/90 on my last appointment)

I'm just a little scared that my pre e will be more severe this time around.

    My doctor told me on Monday that having pain in the upper right rib area is a symptom of pre-e and to be on the lookout for it.  I would call your doctor just to be on the safe side.  Good luck!

    I would call your OB - sounds like a sign of pre-e to me

    My OB said to watch for pain or anything uncomfortable on the right side of my body under my ribs. Which, I think, is where the liver is and I think that is an organ effected by Pre-E. Definitely call your OB if you're at all worried. Pre-E is definitely nothing to mess around with.

    I don't have pre-e but my blood pressures been high so my doctor mentioned me warning signs of it and one of the signs was pain on the right side by your ribs.

    this exactly. I just got out of the hospital after being monitored for gestational hypertension and they asked me about this type of pain about 4 times a day. It is a sign of the more severe pre-e. Call your doctor!
