I have GD, big baby because of GD and high blood pressure (I don't have pre-e). The plan is to induce at 38 weeks assuming they can keep my B/P under control, sooner if they can't.
I don't have a definite induction date, but have pregnancy induced hypertension (not pre-e). The plan is to induce around 38 weeks if blood pressure keeps like it has been, or to try to get me to 37 weeks if I develop pre-e.
I'll be induced at end of the month when I reach 39 weeks if I haven't already went into labor, it's because I have Factor V Leiden (blood clotting issues) which generally lead to placenta & growth issues for baby. Though so far docs say LO looks great, but I guess this is still the plan because it's their general policy at the hospital for cases like me. I trust them so I'll go with it, plus 39 weeks I feel confident she'll be strong and ready
Thanks ladies! As of yesterday, my LO is 6lbs. The tech asked me if my OB has talked to me about a C-Sec or being induced. I'm like, "Say what??! NO, why?" I don't have Pre-E or GD and my fluid levels have normaled out - so I thought it strange. She said she just "wondered" but didn't elaborate (Im thinking bc she caught herself) It got me all freaked out - but hearing that it's a somewhat normal recommendation, I'll wait and see what my OB says tomorrow after reviewing the results. I feel a little better...
Prior late loss and a bunch of blood clotting issues. My doctor is trying to keep me sane. I'm also dilating already and I've had the shot for her lungs. He told me last week that if labor starts now they won't stop it.
