Freaking out Baby Weight and website?

My DR says because I am tall that you can't always tell if you are measuring ahead, but LO is measuring 5lbs already. It scares me because DH and I were both 4LB babies and out LO already weighs more than we did when we were born!!!! SO EXCITING but just freaks me out because I keep thinking how close all of this is~ Is anyone else baby been this big at 32 weeks?

Also, someone posted a website to chart where the baby is and I could not remember it! Thanks

    In my case I'm so happy they are big with the risk of them coming early. My twins are 5 lb 9 oz and 6 lb 2 oz and I'm thrilled!

    I am very excited he weighs a healthy weight, I think I am just nervous and a little scared for labor and because DH was a twin he was small and I was premature, so it all hit home that I could have a baby at anytime and he would be perfectly fine, but I want him to stay in there as long as possible :) Just reality mainly!

    My LO was measuring 5lbs at 32w too and since DS was 9lbs, my OB said to expect another big baby. I had a really easy delivery/recovery, so I'm not worried about his size. I'm actually pretty excited to (possibly) have another big baby, they seem less fragile.

    When I had ds # 1 my dr said he was 6/7 lbs by feeling and he was 9:2 - so don't take much of this to heart.  Also- 4 lbs is very small - I hope you have a bigger than 4 lb baby

    Weights are notoriously inaccurate.  I would be no stock in this.

    At my growth scan at 32w3d they estimated my baby was weighing 5lbs. 14 ozs. (3 weeks ahead, 83rd percentile)

    Mine right now is 5 lbs 5 oz at 34 weeks. This is the 56% which is just slightly bigger than average. It sounds like you are doing ok, and just realize that the estimates are usually off. Sounds like a healthy baby you've got cooking!

    It's just an estimate and could be way off. If nothing else, I've had alot of women tell me that they're bigger babies were actually easier to deliver than their smaller kids.

    Both mine were measuring 4.2 and 4.3 at 31wks6days. I am thrilled they weigh this much!!!
