Stroller ? to moms of 2 or more

hi ladies! i don't frequent the boards too often, but i figured you ladies would be the best ones to go to with this question.

of those of you who bought a double stroller, did you buy an inline or a side-by-side? what do you love and/or hate about your choice?

i figured i would buy an inline, so that i wouldn't have to fuss with trying to get through doorways. but i plan on buying used (craigslist, most likely) and the majority of the ones for sale are side-by-side. the ones i see tend to be the extra stroller that was at grandma's house, or something of that nature. anyway, just wondering if i should change my position.

thanks!

  • Not really a vbac question (wrong board?) but I really liked my Joovy Caboose Ultralight. At almost 3 I think your older kiddo would do fine with it (mine was 2.5) unless you go on super long outings where she would need to sleep in a stroller.

  • Check out the baby jogger city select series, I like the inline ones better unless you want to jog with them, then go for side by side but those are not really for every day use in my opinion. They are difficult for going through doorways and aisles, some have permanent locked fromt wheels so turning is tough.
  • Our Phil&Ted hasbeen gret. My older son fit in it fine at 3+, and the back seat is removable.

  • The BOB duallie (side by side) fits through a single door.  It didn't take me long to get used to it.  The only problem I have getting around is in smaller stores with tight aisles.

I'm tall and do a lot of walking/jogging, so I needed a true jogger. None of the in-lines are made for that type of activity.
