  Pregnant Questions

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 15 - not really, same pains

   

  2. Any milestones this week? We bought our first baby item this weekend, on our first trip to BRU as an expecting couple. We bought a few clearance clothing pieces.

   

  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Next Thursday - not really

   

  4. What are you looking forward to this week? seeing fireworks!

   

  5. Monday confession? I ate cool ranch Doritos this week and not just 1 handful

   

  6. How far along did you need maternity clothes? n/a

   

  7. What is your must-have items for pregnancy? does sleep count?

   

  8. Anybody know of any great thrift stores for baby clothes and goodies?

  (I figured I'll save some money on clothes that way) n/a, but I'm looking for these too

   

  9. What should I expect at a 1st RE appointment? I have one booked for next Thursday.

  we just wet over our histories, what we wanted, I got labs and an internal u/s done and RE said our general plan should our testing come back normal.

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains?  11 weeks, starting to get the round ligament pain

  2. Any milestones this week?  Not really.

  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?  I have my 12 week appt on Friday.  After that we'll make our general announcemnet!

  4. What are you looking forward to this week?  Looking forward to being 'out' and actually able to talk to people I know about the pregnancy.

  5. Monday confession?  Um, I got nothing....

  6. How far along did you need maternity clothes?  With DS, not until about 20 weeks.  This time around I broke them out around 6 weeks.

  7. What is your must-have items for pregnancy?  Body pillow!!  Makes sleeping so much better.

  8. Anybody know of any great thrift stores for baby clothes and goodies?  I really like Small Threads in Issaquah, or the JBF sales.

  (I figured I'll save some money on clothes that way)

  9. What should I expect at a 1st RE appointment? I have one booked for next Thursday.

  10. Any ideas for gift from baby to current child?  We got DS a book about being a big brother, and 'LO' will bring home a new truck (DS is obssessed) for him.

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 35 Weeks, lots of lower belly pain, and BH contractions.
  

   

  2. Any milestones this week? I preregistered at the hospital, took a tour and made an appt for a pre delivery phone call with a nurse.
  

   

  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Today-Strep B butt swab...yay!
  

   

  4. What are you looking forward to this week? DH having 2 days off in the middle of the week, then working friday to have 5 days off after.
  

   

  5. Monday confession? I just want a big ass glass of wine.
  

   

  6. How far along did you need maternity clothes? 12 weeks with my first 15 weeks this time around.
  

   

  7. What is your must-have items for pregnancy? A pillow for between my legs, Tums, Zantac, and long tanks.

  Pregnant Questions

   

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 28 weeks! My hips are KILLING me. Sleep is becoming more and more of a challenge.

   

  2. Any milestones this week? Started 3rd trimester! I cannot believe she will be here in 12 short weeks (give or take).

   

  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? The 16th. Just a regular check up. I've started the every two weeks schedule for appointments.

   

  4. What are you looking forward to this week? Tomorrow. We actually decided to stay in for the Holiday and work on finishing painting the nursery so we can start putting it together.

   

  5. Monday confession? I about fell over when I weighed myself at my appointment last Friday. I've let it get out of control and I'm mad at myself.

   

  6. How far along did you need maternity clothes? I think I started wearing maternity pants around 16 weeks (used a rubber band on regular jeans to that point). I had to wear tops a little earlier because I already had a large chest to begin with, so when it grew even more I quickly needed larger tops.

   

  7. What is your must-have items for pregnancy? Maternity clothes, and good pillows to help with sleep. Finding the right pillow combination is priceless as you get further along.

   

  8. Anybody know of any great thrift stores for baby clothes and goodies? Bumps and Babies Fair which is twice a year. I think it will be in either August or October next. I haven't explored the thrift stores for clothing, but I do like places like Burlington Coat Factory, Ross, TJ Maxx, for good prices.

  1. What week are you in? Week 27.  Any new aches or pains?  Hip pain makes sleeping difficult.

   

  2. Any milestones this week?  Now in 3rd tri!

   

  3. When is your next appointment? 2 weeks. Will anything special happen at that appointment?  Glucose test.

   

  4. What are you looking forward to this week?  Spending the day off with DH tomorrow!

   

  5. Monday confession?  Can't think of anything right now.

   

  6. How far along did you need maternity clothes?  By the time I hit 2nd tri.  I needed my 'fat pants' or skinny pants with a belly band by about 8 weeks though.

   

  7. What is your must-have items for pregnancy?  A snoogle and lots of pillows - I go back and forth throughout the night.  

   

  8. Anybody know of any great thrift stores for baby clothes and goodies?

  (I figured I'll save some money on clothes that way)  Ebay was my go-to!

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 23 Weeks - Nothing too dramatic

   

  2. Any milestones this week? Baby is kicking daily now

   

  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Friday - Should get f/u on a potential kidney issue from last ultrasound

   

  4. What are you looking forward to this week? The nice weather and time to work on house projects (visitors canceled visit - yippee!)

   

  5. Monday confession?  My hubby thinks I am crazy but I think he is being emo.  He is complete stressed at work and any little thing that I say is twisted into something it is not.  It is so frustrating to have to be calming his nerves when I am the one freakin prego.  Suck it up dude!

   

  6. How far along did you need maternity clothes?  I started early (~13 weeks) but I don't wear baggy clothes so that is a factor.  I found that I was getting grumpy at the end of the work day because my pants were too restrictive.  So maternity pants helped aleviate that issue.

   

  7. What is your must-have items for pregnancy?  Good question - so far a nice pair of materity jeans was a changing point.  Jeans caused me huge drama until I decided to suck it up and visit Pea in the Pod.  I would never spend that much money on jeans unless I was desperate for something.  Those jeans have been the most comfortable thing I can wear; which is good because they are worn half the week.

   

  8. Anybody know of any great thrift stores for baby clothes and goodies?  I like Childish Things, Again & a Gain and Olivia's Consignment.  Best deals have been from garage sales and neighborhood list serves.

   

  9. What should I expect at a 1st RE appointment? I have one booked for next Thursday.

  I am almost to week 38. Only ache or pain I had today came from a pair of maternity jeans being too tight now on my low belly. Note to self, don't wear those again! 

   

  2. Any milestones this week?

  Nothing special. 

   

  3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?

   I am on weekly appointments now. I generally just talk about different labor scenarios with my ob. 

   

  4. What are you looking forward to this week?

  A day off!

   Missed this as it is now Tuesday!

   

  6. How far along did you need maternity clothes?

  I started wearing them around 20-21 weeks. Whether I needed them then was debatable. They were just more comfortable.

  Protein rich snacks- like trail mix and yogurt always on hand.

  I had my first RE appointment on my CD1, so I had an antral follicle count via ultrasound and reviewed are health history. My husband had already done his sperm analysis.

  Hello all,

  My name is Tiffany.  I'm a 37yo mom of five girls. We are TTC our 6th currently.  We live in Pierce Co.

  TTCing Questions

  1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW?

  I just had my IUD removed on 6/20, and I didn't have a cycle while on BC for so many years I have no clue what my cycle will look like.  I'm charting using BBT and CM, and I got EW today plus my temp has been steadily going down so I think I'm close to the big O!

   

  2. What are you looking forward to this week?

  I leave for a girls weekend away in Reno on Thursday! My two besties and I are driving down, and we're so excited for a non kid weekend!

   

  3. Monday confession?

  I wish a horrid, painful case of Gona-Herpa-Syphyl-Aids on my scum sucking XH who went to prison for DV and spends each day since getting out of jail trying to break my restraining order and find us.  Wheww... how's that for a confession?

  On a lighter note, I confess a deep, unbridled love for cupcakes and will go to great lengths for a Red Velvet cupcake!

  Does anyone know if there's a cloth diaper service that will deliver to the south Pierce Co area?
