Mine shows zero interest in propping his own bottle; however, anything else, he is anxious to grab/tear down/hold. I can't recall when my other LOs were doing this but feel like they were able to by 9 mo...
Any tips on getting him to hold it himself? Or is it just another one of those things he'll get with time?
TIA

mine doesn't at all and shows no interest in doing it.
He does however use sippy and straw cups just fine (when he's not chucking them across the room).
Why the heck did you put (jealous?!) in your post? That is dumb. Every baby goes at their own pace. This isn't a competition.

We use the Nuk bottles and DS could hold his own bottle pretty well by 4 months and all on his own at 5-6 months (I can't remember, it was a while ago). The bottle is short and fat. Easy for small hands to hold.
His little friend at daycare is exactly the same age and he holds his bottle all day long at daycare (and did it before my son did) but wouldn't do it at home. When his dad busted him one afternoon, they just put him in his high chair at home with his bottle and "walked away". He picked it right up
It might be that he just wants you to snuggle him.
