New Parent Groups in South Denver/Littleton?

This is DH and my first child (due ~2 weeks) and none of our friends have children. We'd like to make some new ones so we can have a support group of other parents, but we don't know what to do to find them!

Anyone have any recs for finding other parents, especially ones with newborns/are due soon?

    We are new parents in Littleton and have one friend with kids.   Have you tried the highlands ranch rec center?  They always have weekend activities for families. Also, look into Sweet Beginnings in downtown Littleton.  They have a new parent support group.

    Hi! 

    My DH and I are in the same boat as you are. We are due in about 4 weeks (hopefully earlier!!) and are the first of our friends here in CO to have a baby. 

    Let us know if you find any groups or would like to get together... :-)

    Check out Meetup.com and search for playgroups or moms groups, there are quite a few in Denver. Great way to meet new friends! They have weekly get togethers and activities for the little ones :) HTH!!
