Suddenly aware of epidural sight...

I had a great epi.  No problems after either.  But suddenly I can tell exactly where it was.  It's not painful but it's tender to the touch some days.

Is this normal??

Hey, it was still worth it!!!

That sounds odd, especially this late. I would talk to your doc about it.

Ask your Dr. and see if it's normal.  I've been aware of mine since I had it.  I get tingling sensations every once in a while and it feels very tender.  It's not constant but it's definitely annoying.  I still don't regret getting one though!

I never had anything like that. The tape left horrible itchy marks on my back, but that was it. Especially since it's so late, I'd call my DR.

Ask your doc, but my mom says her epidural spot still occasionally bothers her 27 years later.

That is so strange!  I haven't had that issue at all but for the first couple months after I gave birth, I had numbness in my right arm in one spot.  I think it was because I moved slightly and he probably nicked a nerve.  It's gone now though.

I agree with others, I would call your dr just to be sure.
