Ya I saw that a few weeks ago, which is why I was very skeptical when the u/s tech made a guess at my u/s yesterday. He did say he's had a 80% sucess rate when guessing this early but I'm not going to go out and buy anything gender specific based on it.

I am giggling at the "angle of the dangle." Unless the parents had a genetic screening done, I wouldn't put much stock in the US tech's guess...

I am honestly very happy that my tech didn't even bring it up at my NT scan today. Even though I am anxious to find out, I would rather wait for a more accurate guess at 20 weeks.

My doctor guessed 80% girl. I'm def not buying or painting anything yet until 20 weeks. He said he's kept the data of all his 12 week observations and found that he's pretty accurate, but did say when he says 80% not to put money on it.

very interesting!!! i was planning on waiting until my scan in september to find out the sex...i have an U/S i 3 weeks so i'll only be about 12 weeks so i'm glad i read this. i thought they may have been able to tell but i guess not really yet!
