Arm's Reach Co sleeper Question

does anyone have this? and if so what did you use for a mattress ? to me this mattress that comes with it is so hard, its like a board with no cushion. DD wont sleep in it for long because its so hard. is there a mattress that I can buy to fit?

Re: Arm's Reach Co sleeper Question

  • We don't have the Arms Reach, but we built a DIY cosleeper that's very similar.  We just bought an organic foam pad from a fabric/craft store that was a couple of inches thick and cut it down to the right size.  I made a waterproof pad and fitted sheet for it.

  • I think they sell separate mattresses for it, but my LO sleeps on it fine.
  • Ms. B sleeps in the cosleeper just fine. But, then again, she's like me and can sleep just about anywhere. She fell asleep during tummy time on the floor today. Thumb in mouth, completely passed out.

  • Baby mattresses in general are hard :( has to do with the sids thing, I would check at BRU and see if they have a bassinet mattress that fits it.  LO does not like to sleep flat so the bassinet is not great for him.
