I can barely sleep at night, and I'm constantly tossing and turning, waking my husband up each time I do. I've tried to only move if I absolutely have to so he gets more sleep, but then I'm super uncomfortable for long periods of time.
Last night, I finally got up at 3am and slept in the guest room. It was fabulous. I was able to stretch out, roll around as much as I wanted without fear of keeping DH up all night, and it was much cooler with just one person in the bed.
Has anyone else had to do this? Does it bother your DH? Mine isn't fond of the idea of us sleeping apart for the next three months.

Normally, I would agree. But I stay home all day and he has to be at work at 7, so I feel really guilty when he doesn't get rest at night!

Unfortunately, we're in completely separate houses - he's at our new apartment working on renovations and DD, both dogs, and I are staying with my parents.
He comes out to stay with us a couple of nights a week and we're in the same bed, and I can't lie - it's nicer to have the bed all to myself nowadays!

This weekend, DH was OOT, and having the bed to myself was pure bliss, but we're still sleeping in the same bed because:
1. We only have one bed
2. I'd miss having him next to me
But after this weekend, I may insist from time-to-time (as needed) that he sleep on the couch.
Oops.
Vroom, vroom.

No, we're still in the same bed. But Every. Single. Night. I wish I could sleep in the guest room.
I feel your pain!

yes and no. i actually don't sleep well without DH at my back and my body pillow at my front. if we were still sleeping in our bedroom, yes, i would be sleeping on the couch or in my armchair. but since we have dragged our mattress out to the living room where the air conditioning is, we are sleeping in the same bed.
Same here! I did sleep on the couch a couple of nights ago though because I was so uncomfy and the bed just wasn't doing the trick. I needed to try anywhere I could so I could get some sleep. It was alright but I can't wait for it to be over with. September can't come quick enough! Gr!

There have been several nights I've ended up on the couch either to be cooler or to have more space. It doesn't bother either of us, though it isn't very comfy so I don't do it often.
Later on in pregnancy we'll likely make the futon in the living room a permanent bed, but in order to do that we have to use the bed cushion that is currently on our bed. It is only on our bed now because I'm a delicate pregnant flower and need all the cushioning I can get.
