For FULL-ON Tantrums??? My son started this last week, he is throwing his head back and screaming! We have had to start ignoring him because we can tell he is faking it!!! Anyone esle?/
Owen does this. He throws himself back on the floor, kicks his legs, screams, and swats at me if I try to pick him up. I try to distract him with toys... sometimes it works. Hopefully it's a phase they grow out of soon. GL!
We are in full blown tantrum mode. God forbid something she wants is out of her reach, it's like the world is ending. And she will scream and stomp and then stumble and fall down, and then she'll just lay on the ground and flail.
YES!!! agreed with everything you said! I didnt think a 1 yr old could/should act this way!! If it is like this now, what will the terrible twos & thress be like?????
Nope, our little angel has been doing this for a few weeks. We try not to laugh and just ignore her, she does the full on throw self on floor, legs and arms flailing fit.
lol, DD definitely has developed a bit of an attitude. when i tell her no or take something from her, she growl/yells at me! it's borderline funny...sometimes i have to turn my head and laugh!
I am convinced that coffee is God's gift to mothers.
Yep...we have "drama baby" here. We keep joking that she needs to put the back of her hand to her forehead for the full effect It could be anything from being told no, to it's time to clean up to she's done with dinner and expects us to be too that sets her off.

My LO has had a few. But for the most part it was because she needed something like a nap or snack and didn't get it fast enough. At times where I know what the problem is and if she'd just calm down I could help her, it is so frustrating. But I try to stay calm and figure out the best way to get her calm enough to give her what she needs. Once she was throwing a fit in the church nursery and they came and got me and I tried everything I could think of and she was just terrible-throwing herself back and screaming and finally I got out some cheerios and held them out to her and she stopped crying and started eating them. She just needed a snack and they hadn't given her one and I had no idea because I had though they did and she was just tired. But for the most part, she is pretty good.
