yard sale pricing for baby items

how much does a person charge for baby items at a yard sale?

I am getting rid of all baby items on Saturday at a yard sale and have no clue how much to price the items for. I have one child who is 2 1/2 so all items are still fairly new

I have a high chair, snap & go stroller, bumbo chair & tray, boppy pillow, swing, bouncy seat, bottles, tons of clothes, baby toys

Yard sale I go 50-75% off the original price. I don't like to have yard sale left overs so I price to sell. Clothes I did $.25 a piece or $.50 outfit.  I sold all my baby gear for $40 ea, boppy $5, bouncy seat $5. Actually, I would price the boppy at $7 and then offer 'just for you' price of $5. I priced everything (except clothes) a cpl dollars more than I wanted for them. Ppl are going to try to bargain with you anyway.

  • I had a yard sale a couple months ago and did really well. I priced things higher than what some would do but because they were name brand (Carters, Gymboree, and Crazy 8) most people paid it. Some people bargained and if they asked lower, I went lower. I sold a Carter's holiday dress with matching sweater for $10 for example. Jeans in good condition were sold for around $3, single t-shirts for $1, nicer polos, button ups, and sweaters were anywhere from $2-4, and two piece outfits around $3-4. I had multiple people buy well over $50 worth of stuff. I had other things that were very worn so those I sold for $0.25.

I also sold a Chico high chair, stroller, and car seat (with just one base). I had them priced at $75 each and sold all three pieces to one couple within the first couple hours of the sale for $225 total.
