When do you plan to pack your hospital bag?

I packed LO's diaper bag last week while I was going through getting the clothes cleaned that we already have for LO which included the outfit we chose for his going home outfit. I haven't packed my bag yet and I am really not sure at what point I should have it packed. My mom mentioned last week that I will need to pack my bag in the next couple of weeks, but I am due September 10th and even with LO measuring ahead don't forsee heading to hospital before the last week or August. When did you pack your bag (STM)? Have you packed for this LO yet; if not when do you plan to pack your bag?

I don't plan to pack any bags until at least August and even then I'm due the 4th of Sept so I probably will just try to make sure everything is good to go at about 38 weeks.

I think I packed around 36 weeks with DS. I still haven't actually written down a list, though I do think about it quite a bit.

I'll probably pack the first week in August. I'm due the same day you are, but we just moved and I'm in "unpacking mode" right now. I'm also measuring slightly ahead, but I doubt I'll go early. I don't even own any kind of nursing gowns or bras to pack yet, so I should start looking for that stuff. Our diaper bag just came yesterday and I'll probably pack that sooner.

Yeah...I didn't start packing my hospital bag until the weekend before I was due the first time. That was when my OB told me that my blood pressure was getting too high and I'd probably have to be induced, so I needed to be ready.

This time around, I'll probably pack about two weeks before my due date; I forgot so much stuff last time that I want to be sure I have time to really get the bag together. I haven't even thought about LO's bag; I will probably pack that at the same time as I pack my bag. I'm not due until the end of September, so I've got some time.

Yeah probably won't pack until mid/end of August. I'm slowly getting my nursing stuff together... I just recently purchased 2 nursing bras so 1 down a couple more to go

I pulled some nursing friendly nightgowns out of my dresser last week, and I picked out my going home outfit. As for lo, I put three outfits in her bag but I'm sure I'll change my mind later on.

I still need to pack toiletries (closer time of course) and my slipper socks as well as nursing bras and maternity undies.

My c/s is scheduled for 37w1d. I planned on having the bag ready around 32 weeks (which is next weekend). Perhaps I'll start? With my other two, I was in and out of the hospital from 33-36 weeks (and they were born at 36 weeks) so the earlier the better, IMO.

I figure I will pack it around 35 weeks. Last time that is when I started dilating and since you just never know, I want to be prepared.

I had my baby at 34 weeks last time and barely had time to go home and throw a few things in a bag before going to the hospital. I made my husband run home one million times for things we forgot.

We anticipate going even earlier this time (hoping I'm wrong!) so I plan on packing next weekend.

I haven't even thought about this one but getting the general stuff together in the next month or so sounds right. The final items can go in the bag before leaving to the hospital. I don't want to pack my makeup, face cream, tooth brush, etc until I have to go as I will be needing them until then.

I packed it at 36 weeks last pregnancy. This time around, I'm not feeling that rushed. In fact, if I didn't have it packed at all, I wouldn't be too worried. Last time I had plenty of time at home to pack up before heading to the hospital! (Instead i sat around waiting for DH and freaking out -- not productive)

37 weeks. Maybe. I might not get to it until i am in labor. To be honest i don't have ish ready for the baby. A couple of diapers and some clothes. He/she doesn't even have a room yet lol..still dhs office. Starting to get panicky thougb. At least i know what i want to go into my hospital bag

At 38 weeks with DS1, I hadn't packed my bags. Unfortunately I went in for my weekly appt and was told I needed to go to the hospital and have a baby, so I had to rush home and pack. This time around, I'll probably pack around 36 weeks.

I'm hoping to have a list within the next few weeks, but I won't actually pack until way closer.. 36-37 weeks? if even? I'm one of those people that packs for vacation the morning I fly out though, so I've got it figured out. A list would be good just in case H needs to pack for some reason.

Same here, except I'm not a "morning of" packer Smile I'd like to have a list ready to go, but not actually pack until 37/38w.

I plan to pack mine around 36 weeks. My first baby was born at 37 weeks and I only had a bag half-packed at the time, which was a little inconvenient -- I had no toiletries in the bag, so I had to make do with a bottle of baby shampoo and a disposable hairbrush at the hospital!

ETA: With my DD, I was sent directly from the doctor's office to the hospital, so I didn't have a chance to go home and finish packing my bag.

I think I'll start setting things aside mid-August, and have the bag packed by 36 weeks. I've known quite a few people who have had their babies early this year, so I would rather be ready than frantically throwing stuff in a bag at the last minute.

Last time I packed my bag after I started labor. I wanted to have something to do while I was in labor. It still only took like 15-30 min. And my labor was 22 hrs....so I had plenty of time. I don't know what I'll do this time. Maybe I'll pack a couple weeks early this time since I gotta figure out other things while I'm in labor this time...like what to do with DS while I'm in labor.

I think I'll probably wait until 35-36 weeks. I could really pack it any time because I'm going to have last minute stuff regardless, but...I'm lazy.
