Do you use different diapers for night time?

Re: Do you use different diapers for night time?

  • I dont, I just make sure she has a fresh one when I put her down :)

  • yes, blue box of pampers or huggies. We had leaks like crazy overnight. Used the pampers baby dry, says up to 12 hours, and she wouldn't last past 3am w/o soaking the sheets. Even tried sneaking a clean one on before I went to bed. Their experts told me to go up a size and use the overnight.
  • We do. I use cloth, but he gets a fitted with wool overnight.

  • I use a bigger size at night, same brand.

  • I've started using the Pampers Baby Dry for overnight and they're working for me. I did have one leak but he had also pooped that time

  • we go up a size.

  • We do a size bigger Huggies Overnite and don't have leaks.  We do the same with DS and it has always worked to prevent leaks.

  • We weren't when we were using Huggies. And we had leaks about every other day, it was awful! Now we CD and have specific nighttime diapers that have double the microfiber as the daytime dipes. Works so well, we haven't had any leaks.

  • We use the Huggies Overnights because DS has a tendency to tummy sleep so all of his pee pools in the front and the regular diapers are not designed to handle all of it. (We don't change him in the middle of the night unless he poops.)

  • Yes. We use bjs brand during the day but at night they were causing major leakage at night so we use Pampers Baby Dry at night. Bjs brand diapers are half the price so it saves us a ton.

  • I do, I use pampers overnights. Have not had one leak ever. We switched when he started sleeping through the night :-)

  • Yes, I just started to because they go 11-12 hours w/out a change and have been leaking w/ just the regular ones. I tried pampers overnight and still leaked. The huggies brand worked the best for us. So far no leaks! :)

This. Except we rarely change in the middle of the night. He ALWAYS has a leak in the morning, because he poops sometime between 4am and 6am. Even with the overnight diapers, they aren't made to go the 13+ hours LO sleeps at night.

It doesn't seem to bother him though! Just lots of work for Mommy to change sheets and matress pads every morning!

  • I don't and we've never had leaks either. DD actually does not pee much in her sleep, but just makes up for it with a very wet diaper shortly after waking up.
  • My son started leaking through all of the regular diapers at night around 8 months and we started using the Huggies Overnights.  They worked well.  Around 11 months we tried regular diapers again and no more leaks.
