  Congrats!  I honestly just stuck with my old OBGYN.  It's a 35 min drive but I didn't want to be getting to know someone new while trying to figure out what the heck is going on with me at the same time.

  My chiropractor recommended Laurie Greenberg at IGO medical group in La Jolla. Her next available appointment for a new patient was in 3 months!!!  I guess she is that popular! But I decided to go with another doctor from this group - doctor Jon Lischke. I loved him a lot. So, if you do not mind a male doctor I highly recommend him.

  I just delivered my baby 4 weeks ago at Pomerado Hospital in Poway. Dr. Robert Lasting was my OB. His office is in Poway, right by the hospital. He is a wonderful OB. He takes time with each patient and explains things so that everyone can understand. He is very kind and caring. Gave me his cell #. I called it at 5am one time with major abdominal pain. He sent me to Sharp so I would be seen by a high risk OB. He called me and my nurses every hours to check on me. The only downside to him is the long wait at his office. If your appointment is at 11am you probably wont be seen by him until 1230. He is worth it though. Good luck!

  I'm seeing Dr. Gerber at Pacific Coast Womens Health in Encinitas. So far, they are really caring and nice!

  Here's another recommendation for Pacific Coast Women's Health. Dr Gerber delivered my first daughter and Dr Rambur delivered my second daughter. I have also seen the NP/midwife and they are all great.
