Re: Officially Back to work.. means I'm back here!
You guys have always rocked... I didnt go away for any other reason other than time.....
aww thanks
although I wish I could get him to smile as big as your LO.. everytime I lift the camera he gets a face of WTH is that and no more smiles....
That was a lucky shot that I got. Seriously.
What kind of camera do you have? Did you take that picture in your sig? What photo editing tools are you using?
Thank you
While its bittersweet.. it is good to be back... I was kinda ready to go back to work... (part time)
Yes I took th epic
Its a 5d Mark II, I believe I was using the 24-70mm f2.8 lens.... (Im hoping to upgrade to the Mark III... maybe after the upcoming wedding season I might be able to save enough to upgrade and use the Mark II as my backup)
I edit primarily in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Photoshop CS5
Gotcha. I have a cannon rebel. DH got it for me a few weeks ago and I'm a little out of my element. We have PS CS5 as well and DH has told me about lightroom but I'm really as clueless at it comes to all of this. I've been reading tutorials and such but I think I reached too far in terms of a camera. I'm just trying to capture moments and am finding myself suppppper frustrated. I don't have an eye for this.
Anyways, your sig picture is beautiful!
Aww feel free to message me anytime you want! (just page me to let me know you mesaged me lol)
Im more than happy to help.. yes a DSLR can definitely be overwhelming at first.. but once you learn a few things it definitely helps..... As for editing.. CS5 is VERY overwhelming to people and lightroom seems to be a much easier editing software for people.. I use it for batch editing weddings which helps me with my turn around time for clients.... CS5 I use more for specific fixes like swapping heads... opening eyes.. HEAVY retouching... things like that.. for the most part I can get everything I need to get done in lightroom...
Good to know. I am going to get Lightroom then. My DH's boss is a wildlife photographer (specifically birds) and gives my DH tips but we're both so clueless when it gets passed down the grapevine from DH to me. DH isn't the best at explaining things. I will definitely be PMing you in the future
Thanks lady!
Welcome back!
