I was at the Gap the weekend and a lady who worked there started talk to DH and he was smiling at her, then she reached over and touched his hair and petted it! I was just kinda in shock, she did say as she was in the middle of doing it that she, "had to touch his head", then she walked off. You think she would have asked.

DH was smiling at her or DS?
I haven't had anyone try to touch them lately, but when I was at target on Friday one of the boys was crying while we were waiting in line. An older man walked over, peered into his carseat and told me that he was crying because he couldn't see his brother. Therefore I should turn his seat around to see him. Umm, that doesn't work in this stroller, nor is that the problem.

That sign is a great idea! I have heard of moms with preemies like myself doing it before, and kinda wish I had when DS first came home...
Even after telling people that DS was a preemie, I have had strangers touch him or try to touch him. I admit I've been a B and say 'Do NOT touch him!' out of panic. I will never understand strangers touching babies, since I would never in a million years touch someone else's kid without clean hands!!
