For the first 3-4 weeks, DD slept great all the time, wherever we put her down. Starting around 3 1/2 weeks, it all went to hell. Now she won't sleep during the day unless we are holding her. As soon as I set her down she wakes up. At night, she wakes up every 10-20 minutes and I have to rock her back to sleep. Sometimes I don't even make it back to my bed before she is up...and she is always sound asleep when I put her down! What on earth is going on? Any suggestions for how I can get her to sleep on her own and for more than 10 minutes at a time? She isn't getting any rest, and neither are we!

Re: She refuses to sleep!
YOu have just described my weekend..... the only thing that has worked for us right now is using her car seat.
We take her for a ride she falls asleep and I let her sleep in her car seat.. the only way she'll sleep for a stretch of 4 to 5 hours....
good luck!
DS started the same thing. I am at a loss at what to do and I go back to work next monday. I need my sleep. The swing doesnt work. Last night he fell asleep in his moses basket and was asleep a good hour so I out the basket in the crib. He woke up 10 minutes later.
