My periods are still irregular - alomst 10 days long, my homones are all over the place during PMS 5 days and all thru my period. Yes, like half the month. My mom says I should be greatful as I didn't actually get my period till 5 months after surgery. My daughter was taken from me in a c-section a week before she was due. It was planned I was never in full blown labor sso I couldn't get any milk - although I pumped for her two weeks of life - she was in the NICU for 6 weeks.
I am not sure what is normal after c-section, but I know it's not me.
Re: 10 months after surgery, still not normal
Did you have a "normal" cycle before pregnancy? If there is a big change in your menstrual cycle, you could ask your doctor. I am sure it takes a while to regulate, but I don't know what is considered normal or abnormal.
I am still BF so no period yet, so I can't speak to it.
Are you using any hormonal birth control?

I don't think your lack of milk was related to not being in labor--lots of women with planned c-sections breastfeed their babies.
I agree with PPs that you should talk to your doctor. Definitely need your thyroid checked if you are not on any hormonal contraceptives.
You should see your OB.
The lack of milk had nothing to do with your c/s. It's the removal of the placenta that gets the hormones started to produce milk. Whether or not you labor has no influence. I had DD2 via scheduled c/s without labor and my milk came in just fine.

This.
And the fact that you stated your daughter was "taken" from you via csection makes me think you should do so sooner than later. A possible hormonal imbalance adds a lot to your body, much more than just periods.
Good luck!
