i did have a cute dh story, but now need prayers

i normally post here as makinithappen but dont rember my password since its saved on my computer....

cute story first-last night lo really spit up on his clothes so when dh got up to get him something, i asked him to gwt a onesie. he said dont you mean a three to sixy; i think a onesie will be way too small. ha and he was totally serious.

well, then this morning i noticed how bad lo was breathing after not eating last night and just not veing himself. took him to he er this morning and after having blood drawn, a catheter, a lumbar punture, and oxygen for apnea episodes it has been decidwd he has meningitis. lo was transferred to a pediatric icu and has a ventilator until they figure out what kind he has. it has been a crazy day but he is stable right now would just appreciate some thoughts

my niece had bacterial spinal meningitis when she was 2.weeks. she now has a shunt in for the rest of her life. she still functions fine but has slurred speech. I know how serious it can be. god be with you.

thank you so much! its so scary to see him like that but im glad hes in good care. the ct scan came back good so there was minimal swelling.
