frozen waffles and nipples

two questions. someone told me that they gave their teething infant frozen waffles to chew on. I tried it. then tiny pieces started breaking off and I was worried about choking. BLW ladies, please give me insight.

also, and this is really dumb of me, but I just realized (an hour ago) that they make size 3 and 4 nipples for Avent bottles. I have been using size 2 for months now. when did you move up in nipple size?

    I kept DS at level one at the advice of a lactation consultant to avoid daycare over feeding him. Not sure if you ebf or ff.

    Sorry to disappoint! I tried size three today and DS choked, whined, and cried the whole time. He still sucks a bottle down in 10 minutes with the two....thanks ladies!
