Sorry, Kimbo, I started this because I want to brag on my LO! She is saying some new words. In addition to kitty and dada, she now also says ball ("ba"), mama (yaaayy!!), and baby. She also signs "nurse" and "all done." I'm very proud.
C is really getting the hang of his shape sorter .
He also now knows what a phone is for, lol. He picks up our cell phones and holds them to his ear and babbles. It's too cute. He's learning purposes for things, which is great. He rolls cars and trains, puts animals in and out of the barn, pretend reads books, etc.
DD added 2 new words to her vocabulary ...."yeah" and "there". On Friday, she started talking some steps while DH held her hands and she's been doing it all weekend long now. She also points at things she wants now, which is very helpful but she seems to be getting more demanding now! She's also mastered eating corn off of her own corn on the cob....not a milestone, but it's so cute to watch!
Just an FYI, I was gifted a Growing Child subscription and it says in there under the 12 month section that up until age 2, most toddlers can only understand 2 words strung together. I sometimes find myself speaking in really long sentences to her, trying to explain why she shouldn't throw her food from the highchair (!!!!!) and I think I'll just keep trying, "don't throw!" and see if that works better!
DH: 34/Me: 35 Married: Feb 2008 DD: June 2011 TTC# 2: April 2014 BFP!! 8/29/16 --> EDD: 5/11/17....it's a GIRL!!!
Cole is finally starting to feed himself other things besides just cereal! I'm very excited! He's also learned 'be nice' and he doesn't grab the dog anymore, just pats him. He is saying toes too! He grabs my feet and says toes. And he's dancing now which is so so cute!

DS is saying a couple more possible words (we aren't quite sure yet). I thought I heard something that meant "blueberry","yeah", and something else that I forget now.
Oh, and he also learned how to sit on the cats. Is that a milestone?? 13 Months = Back up to sit down on the family pets.

In the last week, Emma has learned to walk and she has actually hit a couple of those self-care milestones we thought were kinda crazy awhile back. She will wash her face with a baby wipe and she brushes her hair if you give her her brush. She still loathes when I try to wash her face though.
Maya is slowly doing much better being alone with DH when I go to the gym, etc. She only cries for a few minutes then DH says she's fine. He used to have a really hard time getting her to sleep (since I BF her to sleep), but now he says she crawls into his arms and "assumes the sleep position" when she's tired!
And she has sort of self-weened off the pacifier! She never got one 24-7 or anything but when I did go out, DH was lost without one. He didn't use one at all this week and she hasn't noticed, and still took her naps- and I've stopped giving her one in the car and she didn't seem to miss it then either. She'll still suck on one if she finds it around, but only for a minute before moving on.

I think the cutest thing Eloise does now is I'll say to her "Where's mommy's baby?" And she'll walk over to me and lift up my shirt. Every once in a while she'll put her head down on my belly or give it a kiss. I'm hoping the love transfers over when the baby is actually here, haha.
I'm really loving watching Lexi problem solve. Yesterday DH kept offering her something and then snapping his hand closed right before she got it. After a fewtimes of opening his hand and being too slow to let go and grab it before he shut, she pried it open, held it open, and used her other hand to get it. She was SO proud.
Z started walking really fast. Of course, I was away the whole week on training so I missed it Oh well! I love watching her, it's hilarious LOL She's also figured out how to stack a couple of blocks together.
I feel like M wasnt doing anything and then he turned 1 and all of a sudden is changing dramatically! New this week is he took 1 single unassisted step, he holds anything that looks like a phone to his ear and says "hello", he blows kisses and when I say "I love you" he says "a la loo!"
DS can now identify his tongue and ears in addition to tummy and toes. I swear he picks up on the ones we work the least on.. we've been working on nose since the beginning and that ones still hit or miss.

My LO has exploded with language in the past couple weeks. He went from 2 words, to saying: No, uh oh, dada, daddy, mama, light, doggy/dog (sometimes he leaves off the end), woah, yucky, cheese, thank you, eye, O's, and hi. He uses some in repetition and most he uses appropriately. He said hi, while waving to a little kid at the grocery store today and I about melted.
Caleb is full out walking now! He is so proud of himself and wants to walk EVERYWHERE!
Also, he goes "ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" when he pushes his cars around! It is so cute. Sometimes he forgets, and if you do it, the next time he pushes his car he starts again!
Awww all of these milestones are adorable! I love it.
Vito started saying "hi" and "bye bye" and waving at appropriate times. He's been waving for a while, but now it is when people are coming and going.
He got a lot of new toys for his birthday and he caught on to how they work quickly and really plays with them. It is adorable to watch him play and think about how these things are working.
She has learned to point to her nose and to her belly-button when you say those words. She is also saying something resembling "belly button" when she points to it ("beh bada").
She also will try to brush her hair when you give her the brush, although half the time the bristles will be facing up instead of down so it's not very effective.
She is waving and saying "hi" to EVERYONE she sees on the street, cars going by, etc. It's so stinking cute! Although I have to wonder what's wrong with those people walking by who DON'T wave back to this adorable little girl waving and smiling and saying hi to them. (Most do, though.)
She also has started getting better at biting food, such as getting corn off the cob or eating bites out of an apple.
The biggest thing that G has started doing is making "car noises" when he pushes anything with wheels. It is SO cute. I also think he is starting to learn what a hug is, although he won't do it all the time yet.
DS is signing more often. He is signing "more" and "eat". Every now and then he will sign "milk".
He is also climbing more often, up the couch and loveseat. When he climbs the loveseat, he loves climbing up the back of it because there is a half-wall that has items on it that he wants. We actually cleared it today so he will not have any items to motivate him. He also climbed the first three steps before we noticed. Then we helped escort him up the rest of the way. We decided we need to put the gate up more consistently.

No worries. I don't own all rights to starting this. lol
Let's see.....Is it terrible that I can't think of something to brag on?

That is really good to know!
Ben is saying ma-moom (ka-boom) whenever you throw something.
He also went swimming in a big pool for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it!!
