Rash on hands and feet?

Today I noticed some tiny, red, pin-prick sized spots on DS's palms and soles of his feet. They are not raised, he has no fever, and has been BFing fine. They do not seem to bother him, as he doesn't react when I touch them. They do blanch when you press on them. Any idea what this could be? I think I remember DD having this too, and it going in a day or two. They are not blisters, as they are flat.

    I would call the doctor, see if it is hand, foot and mouth disease aka Coxsackivirus. Most forms of HFM are just a rash like you explained but some can be dangerous especially for a little one.

    I would definitely call just to be on the safe side. I hope that everything is fine and it is just a minor skin irritation!
