Taking progesterone and nervous about being prego

Soooooooooo at my 6 week appt my ob put me on progesterone for bc because I'm nursing. I took it for a month but then wasn't able to get it filled right away. DH and I "cuddled" a number of times in the two weeks I was off bc. I started taking it again yesterday, but I'm feeling "off". I felt "off" before, and I was pregnant with DD. So now I'm nervous about taking the bc in case it might not be good for the potential baby. I'm going to take a pregnancy test next week but it might be too soon for a true positive. Any thoughts? Personal experience? Reassurance? TIA!!

If you were off BC for two weeks and "cuddled" there is a very HIGH chance you may be pregnant. Even if you miss your pill one day you can get PG.
If you "got back on the pill" didn't you wait until you got your period first and then start taking it again? If not then you may want to stop and wait until you get your period. You are just going to mess with your body by stopping and starting whenever.
I haven't gotten my period since I got pregnant with DD last June & I may not until DD isn't breastfeeding as frequently (still feeding or pumping 6-7 times a day). So by your logic, I shouldn't be on bc at all
The point of progesterone only bc is that you can take it while bfing. OP is right, there's no point or need to wait until you have your cycle before taking it. Since some women don't start until after they wean, it would be pointless.
OP, I'd probably use condoms until after you take the test. You may be freaking out over nothing, but my doc told me that it was very important to take my pill at the same time every day! GL!
