New here, due in late July

Hi all. We just found out we're expecting in late July. We haven't told anyone in our families yet, but probably will at Christmas. My first appt. is next week, apparently with a prenatal nurse. Does this mean that we'll just be getting a blood test?

Congrats! My first appt. was with a nurse and it was just to answer questions, order blood work, and set up the next appt. with a doc. GL.

Not at the actual visit, but you'll probably get a lab slip to get an ob panel done. Congrats.
