Pulsating vein in head...freaked OUT!

While my LO was napping, I noticed a pulsation in his head.  I'm assuming it's an artery or vein pulsing with his heartbeat.  It reallllly freaked me out & I'm hoping it's normal.  His little head bones aren't closed yet, right?  So it would be normal for a vein/artery to be visible?  Creeeeeeeped out.
Blessed to be married to my best friend & so in love with our little man!!

    Haha, yeah, I told Sam earlier I could see his soft spot pulsing and it was creepy.

    Yeah it freaks me out too.  I don't think the soft spot closes till age 2 or something??

    my kid has like 3 soft spots on his head. i feel like the one in front pulsates a lot when he is hot and dehydrated. freeked me out the first time i saw it. he also has a huge vein in his head that looks like it is going to pop when he screams bloody murder. i hate the dang vein!
