Like above, every 1.5-3 hours while awake. It really can vary depending on the day's activities. With the craziness of the holidays this week she's nursing more often (and/or for a longer time), but it is mostly comfort sucking and not actual eating. We haven't forced a schedule on her yet and are hoping it just kind of comes as our schedules evolve with me returning to work.
Thanks for the responses. I hate others telling me how often and how much my DS should be eating... especially when the never breastfed themselves. My DS is eating every 2-2.5 hours and my mom kept saying he needs to go 3-4 hours. He sleeps 8 hours at night and I think makes up his calories during the day by eating every 2 hours. Glad to see that others are eating about as often as DS. I feed on demand so sometimes it is shorter and sometimes longer.

My DD sometimes won't eat and then will constantly eat.
She was nursing every 2-3 hours during the day, did some cluster feeding before bed, and then slept from 9pm-7am.
She actually slept better at 3 months than she does now at 2 1/2 years.
