What are your plans for the 4th?

We're not doing anything special for the 4th. Most of the public fireworks displays have been cancelled due to the wildfires here. One of my friends is visiting from out of state, so she's coming over as well as some other friends we haven't seen in a while. We'll probably watch the Boston Pops on tv, like we always do too.

    I think my ILs might come over to BBQ, that is about it.

    WE are going to the yacht club with my dad and his wife to swim and for lunch. After Lillian's nap, we're headed over to my aunts for a BBQ and to watch a parade on the bayou in front of her house (yes, I realize we sound like swamp people, we're not I promise!).

    We are participating in our little neighborhood parade in the morning, and grilling for dinner. We may invite some friends over. Other than that, we don't have any plans.

    I think we may try to go to a movie.  It's supposed to be hot so I'll be ok with anything indoors.

    My Uncle has a pyrotechnic license, so he gets the big city fireworks. He does a show on his lake. It's a lot of fun! Saturday we have another party at my cousins. He lives on a lake as well. It's going to be hot, so being on the lake will be nice!

    We laid in the pool all day and drank beer. Then we watched the firework show over the river. It was a pretty fun day!
