So....when does your stomach feel hard? I'm clearly showing and bigger in the abdomen than 14 weeks ago, but my stomach is not hard... this is my first and I'm completely clueless.
People are already touching my stomach but I feel emabarrased b/c it just feels like fat and not a hard bump?
Any suggestions?
Re: Baby Bumps...I'm confused
On how to make your stomach hard? Yeah...don't poop or fart. It's made my entire abdomen hard as a rock for 3 weeks now.
The further along you get, the harder it will feel. I remember mine feeling "hard" sometime after 20 weeks. It's like, as your uterus rises, and the baby gets bigger, you feel a lot more baby, and a lot less 'softness'.
You may have moments here and there, where you feel the hardness though. I find in the evenings, my 'baby' bump feels a lot harder. Like heavier, and my skin feels more pulled. Whereas in the mornings sometimes It doesn't feel really pregnant at all! just flubby. lol.
I think around 25-30 weeks, you will really feel the hardness. The more you can feel the baby moving, the more it feels hard. (from what I remember).
It's just at what point does your stomach feel hard? Or is it the classic every body is different?
There were two responses previously answering your question. It really is different for everyone though.

Mine is rock hard right below my belly button (and underneath the layer of fat). But I have two in there so I may be earlier than others.
I have noticed that having the babies below my belly button has pushed all the fat up above my belly button which is the area that people actually want to touch and rub.
I had to tell someone "Um, that's fat not baby"
Thank you BSN, those two posts were added while I was typing. But I understand.
