I always loved traveling and going on adventures. But I'm going on a 2-week long training mission this coming Sunday and I'm starting to get anxious and nervous. I'm freaked out about going so far away from my hospital and my OB and of course all the "what if's" are running around my brain.
Any thoughts (for those that travel a bunch!) on stuff I should remember to bring? I know I'm definately going to bring my snoogle, but otherwise, I'm thinking possibly pack a big cooler of snacks/drinks.
Re: 2 Week training mission...:/
Hmm... I think you should be happy that your company is willing to fund a 2-week training mission for you. That is usually a sign of the company seeing you as someone worth investing company funds in.
You are only 24 weeks. The chances of you delivering in the next 2 weeks are pretty slim... and surely if you have an issue you can still call your OB and communicate via voice mail messages if needbe.
I think you should take a deep breath and enjoy the trip. I bet it will go just fine.

Currently going through our second deployment. Can't wait for Zoe to meet her daddy!
I travel frequently for work and was a little nervous about traveling when I found out I was pregnant as well. Just a few things I do to keep the 'What If's' from keeping me up at night:
I leave my DH a itinerary of where I will be with flight info., phone numbers and addresses to hotels, client sites, etc... I also keep his business card (with cell number) in my wallet behind my drivers license.
Make sure your emergency contact is in your cell. I also added the phone number to my Ob/Gyn and 800 number to my medical insurance. Oh and don't forget your cell phone charger (I bring wall and car charger), especially when you leave to go home. People are always leaving the wall chargers in hotels.
I have a drawstring, lightweight backpack in my luggage that is stocked with antibacterial wipes, bandaids, tylenol, sunscreen, chapstick, individual packs of powdered Gatorade and snacks. Can't tell you how many times I have lent out this bag. It's so easy to add your wallet to the bag and go.
Sorry- this is long and I probably sound like a neurotic mess:) I consider myself a walking Murphy's Law so I overprepare and hope I don't need it. Hope this helps and you can relax and enjoy your trip!
