Un-vaccinated kids - will you let your kids play w/them?

If you know a child isn't vaccinated, will you let your kids play with them?

I really think that if I know they chose not to vaccinate their child(ren), I won't let my kids around them - I don't want to put my kids at risk, even thought I've vaccinated my kids.

Anyone else think about this?

Yes, I would absolutely let my kids play with "them." Wow.

the only time that your child would need to be separated would be if your child is an infant and is not vaccinated. We had children who were not vaccinated at the daycare that I use to run and they were not allowed in the Nursery (as most children wouldn't go in there anyway) but there is nothing wrong with that... How would you know if your child's friend is not vaccinated? Some parents feel strongly about vaccinations due to religion or medical reasons and I do not feel that i would punish both my child and the other child just due to them not being vaccinated.

Yes, my kids will be allowed to play with unvaccinated kids.

Yes, I would let my kids play with un-vaccinated kids. I think when an infant or sick it would probably be better to keep them away from just about everyone haha! But you most likely aren't even going to know which kids are or are not vaccinated.

And some kids are not vaccinated for medical reasons so is that really fair to them?

Yes, I would let my kids play with them. As pp said, my child would be vaccinated, so they would be ok for the most part. Plus, they will encounter "them" in school, and I have no control over that. I can't keep her in a bubble for the rest of her life.

My son will be able to play with anyone, vaccinated or not. I couldn't imagine punishing my child or the other child because of a parent's decision. I'm also sure that the majority of parents who don't vaccinate their child(ren) have a pretty good reason for it, just as I have my own reasons for vaccinating.
