I have my National Guard Annual Training coming up and I'm going to be away for two weeks.
I'm trying to get everything planned out for H while I'm away.
During the week, my sister will be keeping LO. Her daughter (2 months older than P) is on the same schedule so I'm not worried about any of that. Just making sure that evenings and weekends are smooth when it's solely on H.
H is great with her and takes care of her when I'm away on my drill weekends so It's not really for his benefit but for my piece of mind.
This is what I have so far:
-Write down schedule
-Bag up individual outfits for each day
-Write contact numbers for sister, mom, and Dr
- Bring Diapers, wipes and milk to my sisters (So H doesn't have to deal with that every morning.
Am I forgetting anything? Help? TIA!
Re: XP: Planning for two weeks away from LO
My DH doesn't cook at all and has a really hard time coming up with meals for LO. So if it were me I'd make sure the house was stocked with snacks, pouches, etc. And I'd write down a list of some easy, typical, go-to meals that I know DS will eat.
I'd probably do something like make a bunch of meatballs (I sneak veggies into them) and freeze them so there were easy to heat up as part of dinners, etc.
H is the cook in the house so he's pretty well got that covered. Thank Goodness. He assures me that this time will be easier than when she was 6 months old. I'm trying to believe him but I just want to cover any basics.
