ovulation pain?

Does anyone have this?

If so, do you use it as your o date or do you temp/chart too?

    I also have O pain... but it is after I O. so I still need to chart and temp.

    I have O pain. But since DS was born it lasts 3-5 days, so its completely unreliable. Therefore, I still chart and temp.

    BFP # 1- DS ~ TTC #2 since Jan. 2012 - BFP # 2 - "Baby Elsie" - Blighted Ovum - D&C August 22, 2012 at 7w3d, BFP # 3 - CP - December 30, 2012, BFP # 4 - CP - March 19, 2013 ~ First RE Appt. 4/24/13 Med cycle #1: 50mg Clomid and Trigger shot = BFN. Med. Cycle #2: 6 cysts found. No meds/rest cycle. Trying on our own = BFP # 5! Beta #1 = 77, Beta #2 = 129 Beta #3 = 94 - CP - July 2, 2013. BFP # 6! Beta#1 = 21, Beta#2 =58 Beta#3 = 134. U/S shows heartbeat of 142 at 7w2d!

    I have O pain on the left side only some months, so I've assumed that's when I'm ovulating from the left ovary though I've never had this confirmed...

    It starts around CD 12 and continues until CD 18 (I usually O on CD 16).

    It's a cramp/pinch/pull feeling and I've never had it on the right side.

    I get back and pelvic pain on one side when I ovulate.  It's an annoying, twinge-y kind of pain.  I don't temp yet (just tracking my periods to look for regularity ATM) so I just mark it on my chart.

    Yes I get it a few days before O and it sometimes lasts a few days after as well.... It gets pretty painful some months!

    Me:36 DH:38 TTC#1 since 4/2012
    Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    I have lots of O pain, but it usually gets pretty intense the day I O. this past month though I didn't have a temp jump but had the pain. 

     I temp and use OPKs...I wouldn't rely just on O pain!

    I sometimes get it (not every month) and it's anywhere from a few days before to a few days after I O so I still need OPK's and temping to see when I O.

    I also have ovulation pains, but it is not always consistent...there are some months when I don't feel anything at all and then there are months when I am in a lot of pain and I have noticed it occurs right before O. Because of all the inconsistencies with my cycles I am consistently charting and temping.
    Me: 27 DH: 28 Off BC 11/11/11 DH SA = High count, normal mobility and low morphology (15%) March 2012: Provera and Clomid 50mg....BFN** April 2012: Provera and Clomid 100mg.....BFN** November 2012 (w/ RE): Prometrium and Clomid 50mg CD 3-7......no response, Follistim 150IU CD11 and 75IU CD13 w/ Ovidrel and TI.....cycle cancelled due to no response to Follistim injectables.** January 2013 (w/RE): Provera, Clomid 50mg CD 3-7, Gonal-F, Ovidrel and IUI...??? HSG Test: Clear

    I sometimes get it (it is sharp and lasts a day or so for me) I mark it on my chart and continue temping and using opk's to confirm.

    I get O pain, but I wouldn't rely on it. I temp, chart CM and use OPKs. You can never have too much info, IMO.

      

    BFP #1 - 9/7/12 (my 35th bday!) EDD - 5/15/13 DS born 5/13/13

    BFP #2 - 7/5/14 (total surprise!) EDD - ????

    I have gotten ovulation pain ever since I went off of BCP 2.5 years ago. I had it so bad the first time that I went to the ER thinking I had appendicitis. Imagine my embarrassment when the doctor told me I ovulated. 

    In any case, this is only my second cycle temping, but I had ovulation pain leading up to and including the day I Oed. I did have slightly more intense pain on O day than on the others though.

    I still temp since I have pain for multiple days, and I really like knowing exactly what day I O.

    I get a sharp stabbing pain on one side, usually the day before or the day I O, but sometimes for days before and/or after. I temp to confirm O.
