  I personally wouldnt. Maybe if it was 5weeks and 6days;). Its hard at this house but my hubby is satisfied with oral for now. As for me :(im just waiting it out. I figure whats 2 more weeks after everything we have gone through over the last eleven months. Plus i want more kids and i dont want to chance messing that up. I dont have a normal uterus and its already high risk for me

  We broke it yesterday at 5 weeks. I couldn't help myself, and it wasn't painful for me, and DH seemed to have a real good time too! We might not do it again before my apt next week, just to be on the safe side. I say if you feel well enough why not, just take it slow and be careful.

  We started DTD two weeks after DD1 was born. I'm not saying I recommend it, but everything was fine for us, other than the normal PP pain during sex.

  If you haven't had an episiotomy or tear, my midwife says it's okay to get back in the sack one week after your PP bleeding stops.  If you DTD before your bleeding has stopped completely, there is a high risk of infection.

  My doctor cleared me at my follow up appointment and I was 4 and a half weeks out from my c-section. I had stopped bleeding and we did try to DTD the next day but it was a tad uncomfortable. That being said I wasn't in the mood then and still really aren't in the mood now-probably will help when I lose some more weight-come on metabolism!

  I want to, but DH is afraid to hurt me and has been since 2nd trimester... so I guess it will be after my appointment... which happens to be 8 weeks out from my delivery because I was induced 2 weeks early but the appt. was already booked and couldn't be changed... sigh...It's been a LONG time...

  We did after a wedding we went to at 5 weeks 4 days.  But I didn't have stitches and was done bleeding for over a week.

  Thank you ladies for the advice. Im 4 weeks out and ive been trying to hold off as much as possible and ive been doing everything i can for SO but hes not the only one who wants to so im thinking maybe tomorrow we will break the rule a little bit and see how it goes!

  We broke it at 4weeks and I had 2 second degree tears - was actually not too uncomfortable but there was a lack of sensation.

  We did it a few days early :-) I had a very easy vaginal birth with no tearing. It was a tiny bit uncomfortable at first but not bad at all.

  5 days before my appt.  DH left for deployment the DAY before my appt and I didn't feel like waiting an additional 10 months!  Other than being uncomfortable at first (PP pain, dryness because of BF), it worked out and Dr. didn't say anything at my exam.

  I didn't want to risk infection because I had a c-section and I thought it might be painful.  We did it at about 7 weeks though.  We also wanted me to take my birth control for a week before as well.  We have both been so sleep deprived that we really didn't give it too much thought.

  I have really wanted to, but I am being good and waiting for my 6 wk appt on Friday. Maybe this weekend DH will be super happy!

  We did it at 2 weeks 6 days. My bleeding had stopped and with some extra lube it was fine. My first pregnancy we waited until 8 weeks pp, but that recovery hurt more.

  I had my pp visit this am and was cleared.  I'll be six weeks Friday but I guess I'm good to go!  Yessssssssssss

  Yeah, I think the guidelines is 4-6 weeks so if you had minimal damage, no bleeding and feel up to it, then have fun! We never waited until the 6 week pp check up and started having sex again around 4 weeks. I have never had any tearing though-that might make a difference. GL
