Birthday Blues!

I just placed an order for some birthday party supplies and invites for DS!  I am both excited for his party and sad that almost a year has passed!  Does anyone else feel this way?  I mean, I almost tear up thinking about his birth day approaching and just KNOW I will have an emotional August 4th.....

I am excited to see what the next year will hold...we've just had SUCH a hard first year and I guess I wish I could have it all over again!

Such is life...

    MY BABY BOY IS ALMST ON AUG 6. AND IM ALSO THROWING HIM A BIG BIRTHDAY PARTY ON AUG 4. SUPER EXCITED. WHAT IS YOUR THEME ON? MINES GOING TO BE ON AIRPLANES. BUT I THINK IM GOING TO WAIT FOR THAT ONE BECAUSE I WANT MY SON TO WEAR A PILOT OUTFIT. .. SO IM UNDESIDED.

    I had a hard time chosing a theme....settled on sock monkey!  I am going to do do a nice mix of the colorful vintage sock monkey.

    Yes I am anxious about it and have felt fairly emotional this past month because of the memories of this time last year when things started going bad.  I think having a preemie makes it that much more difficult because we didn't get a normal birth or newborn experience.  I've heard from other preemie moms that it gets much better after the 1st birthday.  HUGS - I know how you feel!
