Our little man is getting bigger every day! My BFP Chart
I might be the only one, but I go off of my due date. So I'm due on Oct. 24, on June 24 I considered myself 5 months pregnant since I have 4 more to go
If it makes you feel any better, I don't view my pregnancy in months. To me, it's much easier to say, "I'm x weeks," and in reality any time I'm asked by a medical professional, they want to know weeks, not months.
Well, it would be 10 months if every month was exactly 4 weeks. It would be 9 months if every month was exactly 31 days. In reality, it's much more accurate to count in weeks than months.
However, if you want to count in months, use 30.5 days per month. Pregnancy is 40 weeks, or 280 days, or 9.18 months.
But like a previous poster mention, if I need to count in months, I subtract from my due date. But I still usually count in weeks. I get email reminders for those.

My IVF Journey
Since you're pregnant for 9 months, 4.5 months would equal 20 weeks. So you're 4.25 months about.
Full term is 40 weeks so your actually pregnant for 10 months. Not trying to be rude about it but it bugs me when people say 9 months(:
This would make sense if there were 28 days in every month, but there aren't. Those extra days mean we "lose" about a month. So even though it's 40 weeks, it really is 9 months. For example, my LMP was about March 26. My due date is Dec. 30. That's 9 calendar months.
Re: First time mom, how many months
There are about 4w3d per month, which is 31 days.
19 weeks is 133 days
so 133days/31days= 4.3 months

It shouldn't since 40 weeks is much closer to 9 months than 10.
4 1/2.....at 20 weeks you would be 5months.

You actually are pregnant for a full 9 months. You have the baby at the beginning of your 10th month, but you are not pregnant 10 months.
This would make sense if there were 28 days in every month, but there aren't. Those extra days mean we "lose" about a month. So even though it's 40 weeks, it really is 9 months. For example, my LMP was about March 26. My due date is Dec. 30. That's 9 calendar months.
