    My favorites are sweet tea and dr. pepper. I'm not really a drinker alcohol wise.

    I absolutely hate the 2ww and the unknown. Have they grown, implanted, arrested? This sucks and I don't have much hope.QOTD: I drink a ton of water. When I have the urge for some alcohol, I like a nice red wine, or a martini.
    3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
    IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
    Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13

    Exactly what delino said...the not knowing just plain stinks. I'm a big water drinker. I love wine and miss it. If only I could have just a little to take the edge off.

    This I hate the 2WW. Then I had an issue in my sleep last night that I posted about on IFV this AM. I feel like I ruined everything.

    I had to go check out what you were talking about because I had a feeling it was what I was thinking you were talking about...lol.  I've had that happen before, but not very often.  I too am abstaining (partly due to progesterone supps) and have been thinking about that happening.  I'm sure you'll be fine.  Good luck!

    ER is set for tomorrow. I go in at 11. I am in limbo right now & really frustrated. I am being told my p4 spiked too early & they are going to do a freeze all on me & have me do a FET late August. I have a phone consult Tue with my Dr.  to discuss as I really don't want to have to do that for a variety of reasons..I hate all the ups & downs of this whole process. It is just so stressful.

     

    My E2 today is: 3851.


    04/07/11- PCOS Diagnosis w/GYN. Put on Metformin (1500 mgs)
    04/25/11- 1st consultation with RE (Confirmed PCOS & Anovulation)
    05/09/11-HSG-All clear! 05/13/11-SA-Normal. Found out on 2/14/12, low Morph (1%).
    06/17/11-10 days of Clomid (100, 150) No response.
    07/10/11-03/20/12- 5 Injectable (Follistim) IUI cycles; 4 BFN, 1 C/P. (stims ranged from 11 days to 25 days)
    05/28/12-Diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. 75 mcg Synthroid.

    IVF with ICSI in June/July 2013 = BFP!. Beta # 1 = 123. Beta # 2 = 252. Due March 25th. Baby boy arrived March 27, 2013!

    FET #1 - 10/4/14 = BFP!! Beta #1 = 179. Beta # 2 = 499. Due June 22nd.

    Update: I just got a call with my fert report and was told of the 5 mature eggs retrieved, 4 fertilized. I will probably have a 3 day transfer on Tuesday, but I'll get a call on Monday with an update on the embryos and the final decision. 

    Q - I love unsweet tea. I also am a big fan of red wine!

    Diagnosis: severe MFI, late ovulation, short LP, DOR
    Only option is IVF/ICIS. Waited several years before treatment because we're OOP.
    IVF/ICIS #1 in June 2012 (Protocol: Long Lupron). Stims: 6/17/12, ER: 6/30/12 (6R, 5M, 4F), ET: 7/5/12 (1 4AA embryo transferred, 0 made it to freeze) ~ Beta#1: 7/14/12 - 55, Beta#2: 7/16/12 - 100, Beta#3: 7/18/12 - 199 ~ Limbo for weeks, finally confirmed pregnancy not viable: 8/13/12 ~ D&C: 8/17/12 
    Varicocele Surgery: October 2012 (long break to wait for results, no change) 
    Changed clinics: February 2013 
    IVF/ICIS Attempt #2 in April 2013 (Protocol: Antagonist). Stims: 4/12/13, Cycle Cancelled: 4/17/13 for poor follicle response and low E2 rise. 
    IVF/ICIS Attempt #3 in May 2013 (Protocol: LEAP) Cycle Cancelled: 5/20/13 at suppression check due to cyst
    IVF/ICIS Attempt #4 in July 2013 (Protocol: LEAP). Stims: 7/20/13, ER: 8/1/13 (12R, 11M, 9F), ET: 8/6/13 (3 fair embryos transferred, 0 made it to freeze) ~ Beta#1: 8/15/13 - 86, Beta#2: 8/18/13 - 390.6, Ultrasound: 9/3/13 - TWO HEARTBEATS!

    QOTD: I LOVE coke. When I'm TTC i have caffeine free coke on occasion.

    DX: Unexplained/??? MFI issues

    Our lil' lost sparks:
    5w3d loss 7/30/10 - EDD March 2011
    8w loss 4/15/11 - EDD November 2011
    8w3d loss 8/2/12 - EDD March 2013
    4w c/p loss 10/29/12 - EDD July 2013

    Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid, more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
    RPL testing all normal, Karyotyping normal

    Moving on to IVF.

    IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy

    Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
    IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
    FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
    Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14

    After 4 years of hoping and heartbreak, our sweet little bean was born on 2/19/14
    We are so in love with her.

    2nd beta is tomorrow, I'm still pretty anxious and really praying for a good number!

    QOTD: Right now I mostly have been drinking water. For non alcoholic drinks I love lemonade. For alcoholic drinks I love Moscato, amaretto sour, or any kind of pucker with sprite (I only really like sweet drinks)

    I am still just relaxing after transfer yesterday.  Thought I would get a call to update on I my remaining 4 embies froze or not, but I never did.  10 days until beta.

     Qotd:  hard cider (like magners or strongbow). Although after failed ivf #1 I drank a lot of red wine.  I like my drinks, and I'm praying for the opportunity to miss them like crazy for the next 9+ months.  :)

    7 eggs retrieved, 5 mature, 3 fertilized, 3dt 2 grade A embryos.
    Beta 13dp3dt = 6. Beta 16dp3dt = 9. Chemical Pregnancy.

    2nd IVF: Antagonist Protocol. June 2012
    BCP, Ganirelix, Menopur, Gonal-F
    18 eggs retrieved (6/25), 12 mature, 6 fertilized

    BFP! Singleton due 3/18/13!
