I just went to battle with a bottle of wine. How sad is my life? I can never open the damn things and DH is at work...(he usually does it for me!) I really wanted a glass or two to get me prepared for Ms. Brit. I only managed to get about 1/2 a glass from my already opened bottle. Geeesh. What a tease.

    do you have an aso or a cork screw? If you have a cork screw many people do not know that you use the lever deal that is on the side as leverage to pull the cork out. I used to work at Beringer and opened hundreds of bottles of wine a day. Screw down the screw into the cork and then place the lever on the lip of the bottle and pull up and pop out will come the cork. Good luck I'm so sorry you didn't get more vino that can really make a girl mad I feel for ya friend!!
