What was your best baby item deal?

We got a Graco swing/bouncy seat combo on mis-marked clearance at Target for $30! Full price was $160 and clearance was supposed to be $70 but one was marked $30.

Also got a ton of used stuff from my friend who has two boys, including Moby wrap, boppy, baby gate, half a toy box full of toys, about 100 clothing items, burp cloths, bibs, bumbo tray for $100.

My most exciting purchase was for Cale it was a toddler bed that i looked up online after i bought it at a yard sale original price $125 i got it for ten bucks, and then i got one of those plastic $40 toy bins with almost a $100 worth of toys for $5 but that one i cant claim really my mom is the only that got the deal. lol

Lurkin' you ladies, but I have to brag!

A Babyhawk mei tai carrier in perfect condition at a garage sale for $20! I am still SO giddy about that.

Almost all the cloth diapers (GMD prefolds) that we will need, plus 12 flats, several covers, and 2 BG 3.0 pocket diapers for $100 (the family was moving that day and just wanted them gone, they were hardly used because they gave up quickly on cloth! Hopefully I hang in there a bit longer!)

We also didn't get an absolute ton of clothes at our showers; we got a lot, but there was still a lot we needed, especially 0-3 stuff. We finished compiling the wardrobe for about the first year for somewhere around $30-40 by going to garage sales and thrift stores.

Got tons of stuff from my friends who are all done having thier babies, car seat, stroller, pack n play, (I got rid of everything when we moved because we were done) But the best bargain I got that I paid for was my Angel Care Sensor Monitor Brand new in box off ebay for $52. Super jealous of the PP who got the BOB stroller for $100 doesn't even make my bargain sound that good. What a score!!!

Ours have mainly been second hand purchases...

Like the stroller that we got for $27 on ebay which is normally $340-something in stores new, or better still the cot (which I think we spent $20 on making sure we had correct bolts etc for it) that retails for $600+ new.

My family laugh at how much we haven't spent on this baby

Our crib. It was originally priced at $399. It went on clearance for $199 cause they were discontinuing the model plus we had a 25% off coupon so I think after taxes we paid like $163.

We got LO's dresser (antique, matches nursery, absolutely freaking gorgeous) off Craigslist for $65. Convertible crib for free from a customer of mine at work. Snap N Go stroller frame off Craigslist for $35 (They retail for $80 at BRU) And tons of awesome hand-me-downs from my cousin totally free: 3 car seats, stroller, bumbo, nap nanny, changing table.

We have been so lucky with garage sales!

First we got a brand new bugaboo Frog stroller for $200, which typically retails $800 - $900.

Yesterday we got a very genty used Peg Perego travel system (stroller, car seat, and two car seat bases) for $75. All of the stuff together retails for around $500 or more!
