30 weeks and just got some stretch marks +

in 3rd Trimester
is that too early? I have 3 purple tracks starting underneath my belly like starting where the pubic hair line would be...I'm afraid since I have 9 and a half weeks left.

    I've had stretch marks for weeks now, and I'm 30 weeks tomorrow. They're all over the front of my stomach all the way to my back and starting on my thighs, and I've only gained 12 lbs.

    I'm 28 weeks and noticed some last week on my hips in the back. And also on the top of my butt. Not happy but I'll get over it.. I just hope they go away after :)

    My Dr said they are hereditary, so if you are going to get them it doesnt matter how early or how much you gain, you will get them.  Do you use coco butter?!? I lather up twice a day and did with #1 and so far no stretch marks.

    Your right is is hereditary, so coco butter is not going to help. Only to help with being dry and itchy.

    I don't think it's early or late.  There is no such thing, really.

    I didn't get a single stretch mark until 36 weeks with baby #2. This time? I think they started at around 16 weeks.

    Some people get them from the moment they start showing. I got them during delivery last time.

    Just an FYI, even though mine looked horrible after delivery, they were completely gone within about 4 or 5 months of delivery (to the point you can't tell they were ever there). Hopefully yours will fade away fast too!

    Depressingly, I got a ton within the last week. I think it's because she has been growing a lot since I'm at the end but I haven't gained much weight, so it's really stretching me out fast.
