Anyone have any favorite cheap and/or free apps on the iPad? We don't let her play with it too much, but just curious which ones you love that are educational? Thanks!
The Fisher Price ones are great....they immediately calm her down when we are mid-meltdown, which is the only time I really give it to her. They are both free. One is Where's Puppy, and the other is Animal Sounds.

ETA: Also, try Alphababy and Music Sparkle. Those (and a couple of the Fisher Price ones) are the only ones he uses right now. I have several other great ones for older toddlers (from my nephew and cousins).
At this age my daughter loved all of the peekaboo ones (peekaboo barn, peekaboo forest and peekaboo wild). Not the imitators. This is how she learned her animals and there are great settings so they can do it themselves.
My LO loves the peekaboo ones mentioned above, as well as the animal sounds app. There is another peekaboo one called Peekaboo HD that is his current favorite.
