I am starting the antagonist tonight. Seems early, right?
The very nice lady who did my u/s took about 10 minutes to find my left ovary.Who knows if she actually found it. Never had that experience before, so I wonder if she really knows what she's doing. Made me a bit nervous. Well, I am still in the game. Fingers crossed that I keep the follies I have!
For you gals who have done more than one IVF , did you have an over achiever ovary? Did you over achiever switch sides on the next cycle? Left time my left side was the champ, and now, my right is much stronger. I suppose that is normal with a natural cycle start.

It does seem a bit early to start the antagonist, but maybe they figure it's better to be safe than sorry? I started ganirelix last night (day 6 of stims) I think I started it on Day 5 last cycle.
As far as an overachiever, yes, I always have one. Last time was my left, this time I believe she said my right had many many more this time. I'll know more tomorrow when I go back for monitoring.

You're supposed to start the antagonist when the lead is 14mm, so you're close. I did mine in the morning. When I went in for my 3 day monitoring on a Friday, my largest was 11mm and they had me start it Sunday morning, then I went back on Monday for monitoring again.

Yay! So glad you still have four in the running!
On my injectable IUI cycles my right was always the better performer. For IVF#1 I had an equal distribution of two and two. Who knows what will happen with IVF#2. I doubt my response will be enough to class one as an over-achiever though. Sadly like you, I am not big producer. I have always felt that my left ovary is a bit ?follicularly challenged? though.
