The good and the "Oh, great"

I had my 11 week appointment yesterday. My doctor finally found the heartbeat (160bpm). Everything looks great. Just before she left my doctor says "oh by the way, I'm 15 weeks pregnant." I really like my doctor but since she is due early December I will have to start seeing one of her partners in November. Since I am having a planned c-section I never worried about who would be on call. Looks like I will be switching at the end anyway. Totally happy for my OB but bummed for myself.

That stinks! At least you know early enough. My friend's OB died when she was in her last trimester so she had to scramble to find a new OB. Hope you find someone you like. On the bright side: yea for HB's!

My OB Is pregnant, too. I'm hoping she gets back from maternity leave before I have to deliver. Mine will be a scheduled c too.
